Well i got a cd-key problem , its that every time i try to put it on steam activating product it says its an invalid cd-key but the game is original , i just bought it , it doesnt say its already used , its says that maybe i typed wrong , but i typed well , plz heelp D:

nah i don't think bc2 can be activated on steam if u bought from store...not every game can be activated if bought from retail..just depends

You can add it to your library by going to Games->Add a non-steam game to the library (after installing from cd)

I remember reading you can activate retail copies of BC2 two ways, one of them being through steam.

i activated it in ea download manager but it doesnt matter i have it no steam but original?

yea..if u didn't buy bc2 off of steam..it won't be activated with steam

like Jiz said.. If you bought it through a retail chain you cannot activate it through the STEAM store, you'd have to go through EA's portal..

Here's an exerpt from a STEAM Forums:
"you can't, only select games usually valve titles or steamworks can be activated on steam."

Only buying stuff on steam or buying games that say on the box (STEAMPOWERED) will it ever accept a game in steam... i bought BC2 retail so it has its own launcher i can just shortcut it into steam alls well, ends well
