When you see the message that is along the lines of "Server lost connection to the Steam Servers" appearing in your game, it is in fact not a issue with the game server, but in fact an issue with the Steam Servers. Most people love to blame the server they are playing on because that is the easiest route to go. And because it says it on their screen. But they don't really think about the main issue on hand and how the Valve/Steam updates aren't the greatest things in the world. Especially now that more people are playing TF2 than ever before, along with other games that use the Steam Servers.
Game Server Owners have no control over connection to steam servers. There is not a button in their control panel that they push which says "Connect/Disconnect to Steam Servers" Game server owners are not out to make your life miserable and not give you your load outs. The only thing that we could do is restart the server, which truly does nothing BUT reconnect everybody to the Steam Servers. So why risk losing 32 players in a server over
So please before you go and start complaining in ANY game server (not just the =ADK= Servers) think about the people who run the server first. They are trying to give you the best gaming experience possible in their servers, but with Valve and and all of their updates and how they break things, it makes it so everything isn't going to be perfect. It's not all about you and what you want, because in reality, you will STILL have your weapons the next time you get connected to the steam servers.
If you would like to complain to someone, then please complain to the people who have control over this issue. The people at Steam. Although I do believe they are taking the time to fix issues like these because their servers need to be updated because of all the games they have currently using them. So either be patient or complain to the people that have control over it.
Thank You from all the GSO's out there.
